Professor and Head, Orthodontic Department of Athens University. Positions Held: Associate Dean, Dental School, Athens University. President of Greek scientific societies and of the European Orthodontic Society. Representative of Greece to the ERASMUS Committee and the Standing Advisory Committee for Dental Education in Europe. Served as elected honorary member of the Greek Parliament. Recipient of many awards, including the Harry Sicher Award of the A.A.O. and the Friel Memorial Lecture of the EOS. Main research interests: Interaction of Form and Function, Morphogenesis - Dysmorphogenesis of Craniofacial Complex, Clefts, Aesthetics.
