Dr. Ziskind is a clinical senior lecturer at the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry, Hadassah School of Dental Medicine, Hebrew University, Jerusalem. He received his Dr. med. dent. degree from the School of Dental Medicine, Georg-August-Univertsity, Goettingen, Germany, and graduated with distinction as a Prosthodont at the Hadassah School of Dental Medicine, Jerusalem. Later he spent a sabattical year, as a research affiliate at the Department of Periodontology, Free-University Berlin, Germany.
Dr. Ziskind received several times the Best Lecturer award, given by the Rector of the Hebrew University. He is actively involved in dental materials research, particularly in the area of microleakage and other aspects of adhesive and esthetic dentistry. He also maintains a part-time private practice devoted to restorative and esthetic dentistry. Dr. Ziskind serves on the boards of the Israeli Society of Prosthodontics.
Dr. Ziskind has published several journal articles on the subject of orthodontic forced eruption and has also presented on this subject, continuing education courses.
